Formerly McLaughlin’s Fruit & Veg, Seasonharvest was founded by Kevin McLaughlin (Managing Director) in September 1981.   The business with one vehicle selling fresh fruit and vegetable produce door-to-door.

Business growth was such that in 1986 McLaughlin Fruit & Veg moved to a warehouse facility in Claudy and diversified into the wholesale market.  McLaughlin’s Fruit & Veg quickly gained a reputation as suppliers of high quality produce.  To accommodate the continued growth, the business moved to its current, purpose built processing and distribution centre in the outskirts of Claudy in 1996.

A Donegal-based wholesale fruit and veg business was purchased in 1990.  A further period of growth and expansion was achieved through the purchase of Ballylaw Foods in January 2007 which gave Seasonharvest a strong market presence in Tyrone.

Seasonharvest remains a family run business supplying direct to homeowners and local shops, hotels and restaurants.  The business is totally committed to the pursuit of excellence and quality standards.
